Google has announced CUBE via a post on Google Plus, saying it’s a WebGL game that tests your navigation skills. It does require a WebGL enabled browser and a supported graphics card. The idea seemed strange to me at first, but it can be quite fun to play (after loading, which can take quite a bit). It’s basically a series of task you have to accomplish in a Cube made out of various important maps, while learning about Google Maps’ features – for example you have to get from one point to another by using the quickest route or go through some checkpoints....

If you’re reading this, you’ve probably done something stupid with your files or a USB drive and don’t have a backup. I confess to pulling some not-so-smooth moves—formatting an SD card without realizing it had my honeymoon photos on it, straight up deleting an entire shared folder that had my entire photo archive on it, forgetting to back up a folder of important documents before reinstalling windows. eBay Servers Breached According to a press release from the company, a cyberattack has compromised a database which contained encrypted password and non-financial data. It’s important to know that there is no evidence of the breach affecting PayPal users, as PayPal data is stored somewhere else that’s more secure. So you can rest assured on that front. The attackers have gained access to the database using a few employee log-in credentials, which permitted the unauthorized access....

Note: There’s a limit on how low of a resolution display you can use. To use Windows 8 apps at all, you need a minimum of 1024 x 768. Whenever you mess with the registry — in any Windows version — it pays to be extra prudent. Be careful to follow the steps slowly and carefully. As always, back up the registry first. It didn’t take long to run into my first issue after I upgraded my Dell Latitude D620 to Windows Vista SP1 RC1. After the final reboot, my Sound Card quit working. When I noticed it, I tried to adjust my sound, but Vista told me “No Sound Device Present.” Just for the sake of testing, I rebooted my notebook, but the problem didn’t resolve itself. Fortunately, the fix was groovy, and I didn’t even have to scrub the DELL site for new drivers....

Android Notifications in Windows 10 The first thing to do is download the Cortana app from the Google Play Store. It’s worth noting that Cortana is only available to U.S. users. However, if you live outside the U.S. you can use the APK Mirror to get it (and yes, it’s safe).
