iTunes Match launched yesterday, two weeks after the deadline Apple set in their Let’s Talk iPhone event in early October. Available via iTunes 10.5.1, you can purchase the Match service for an annual Subscription of $24.99. Once purchased, iTunes Match will take you through a three-step process. First, the service will review the music in your library and match your music with songs from the iTunes store and upload artwork and any remaining songs that couldn’t be found in the iTunes music store....

From the main menu go to Settings » General » Update Software. The system will let you know there’s an update available. Select Update Now. Now wait while the update is downloaded and applied. Updating directly from the Apple TV takes several minutes – especially over WiFi. After the updates have been applied, it goes back to the main menu. Block Phone Numbers on Windows Phone 8.1 To block a number go to System > Settings and scroll down and tap Call+SMS filter. Then agree to the service terms and privacy policy. Once you have it turned on, instead of annoyingly typing in numbers, just go to your recent call history. Long tap the number you want to block and then select “Block Number from the pop up menu. It also allows you to create a Live Tile and notify you when a person you blocked tires to call or message you....

Coming to Facebook is a new change in privacy management that removes the ability to hide your profile from searches based on your email or phone number. This change also seems to be removing the option to de-index your profile from Google and other search engines. Starting November 10, for the next two months Google will be providing free Wi-Fi access in in many major US Airports as a “holiday gift.” Virgin America has teamed up with Google and is the only airline that will give out free Wi-Fi access during the entire flight. The deal will run until January 15, 2010, and several airports, including Burbank and Seattle, will continue the free Wi-Fi service indefinitely....

I tested it out, and it works for both Google Apps GMAIL users and regular GMAIL users. You can also attach multiple files as well as single files. However, folders full of files does not work. As mentioned earlier, the new feature only works for Chrome and Firefox users. So IE and Safari – sorry, you’re outta luck for now.
